The Seeds You Can't See

An invasive weed has taken hold. You can see the adult plants — but dormant seeds hide in the soil, invisible and lethal to crops. Use the wrong chemical and you poison your own field. Choose wisely.

How to play

Hidden states: Empty · Seeds (dormant in soil, undetectable) · Adults (visible plants)
Observation: You can only see "present" (adults visible) or "absent" — you cannot detect dormant seeds
PCrop (Precautionary Crop): Standard management. Works moderately on adults; seeds may germinate into adults
Fum (Fumigation): Broad-spectrum chemical. Eliminates seeds, but yields zero reward if seeds are in the soil (fumigation destroys the growing crop)
HostD (Host Disruption): Biological control. Reduces adult density, allows seed germination to slow naturally
Goal: Reach the Empty state across 10 steps. Budget: 10 actions
