Find the optimal action under certainty and uncertainty — optimize_action • vira

Computes the action that maximises func under the prior (uncertainty) and under each posterior (certainty, after the experiment is resolved).

Usage

optimize_action(voi, func = EV_voi, ...)

Arguments

voi: A voi_problem object (after transform_to_utility()).
func: Summary function. Must accept (x, p, ...). Defaults to EV_voi. Alternatives: min_voi, max_voi, stdev_voi, ES_voi.
...: Additional arguments to func.

Value

The voi_problem with a_certainty and a_uncertainty added.
